What About Lead?

This is also known as the Lead Law or RRP (Renovating Repairing or Painting) and went into effect October 2010 by the Environment Pollution Agency. If your house was built in 1978 or after, you have nothing to worry about. If built prior to 1978, plan on having some lead testing done on your house before starting any remodeling project.

If you have questions about RRP, my company is RRP certified to perform this type of work. Many companies aren't certified, so ask to see their RRP credentials before signing a contract with them.

There is a new rule that cities will be enforcing that a construction company needs to have the RRP certification in order to pull a permit. My company can do this.
